Dano festival in Seoul
Seoul marks the Dano holiday with Seoul Dano Folk Festival at the Namsangol Hanok Village on May 26---28. Major events planned during the festival include traditional Korean wrestling, washing your hair with water tinged with irises, and swinging on a traditional Korean swing. Mask dances and pansori music will also be performed. Visitors will also be able to make their own folding Dano fans. Dano, the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is traditionally one of Korea's three most important holidays For more information, call (02) 2266-6923.
